According to the Kansas City Star Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation for alleged battery.  In delicate cases like this it is better off not jumping to conclusions.  This is all we know.

Chiefs statement to the Star:

The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill,” the Chiefs said in a statement to The Star. “We’re in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities. We’ll have no further comment at this time.”-Kansas City Star

As of Friday afternoon, Hill had not been charged with a crime.-Kansas City Star

Here are some important details from TMZ.com:

There's another person named as an "involved" party, Crystal Espinal -- the mother of Hill's child. Neither person is listed as a suspect on the police report.

There is a note on the report that the case was "closed/cleared" and "prosecution declined" on March 8. Another police report filed on March 14 does NOT list Tyreek -- but names Espinal as an "involved person" in a battery case involving a juvenile victim. Again, no details and Hill is NOT listed as a suspect.

From KCTV5:

Officers were previously called to that same address on March 5 to investigate a report of child abuse or neglect. Hill’s name is directly listed on that report. According to Overland Park police, the original report was closed three days later when prosecution was declined.

called at 2:25 p.m. to a home in the 16400 block of Switzer Road.(Overland Park Police Department)

Hill’s name is not listed on the most recent battery report, but his address is the listed location.

Terez Paylor with a report as well:

Tyreek was working on a massive contract for next year.  Let's just see how it all plays out.
