The Royals season has not gone like they have liked but 2-23 year olds are standing out.  This season wasn't about the wins and losses it was about developing players. Keller and Mondesi look to be pillars for the future.

-----First let's look at Brad Keller he started his last game this past weekend in Detroit.  Look at these #'s as they are #'s that will have him firmly in the American League rookie of the year race:

-Brad Keller pitched his last game of the year in Detroit. He went 7 strong giving up 2 hits and just one earned run.  He has gone at least 7 innings in 4 of his last 5 starts.  Great year for Brad as a rule 5 guy as rule 5 guys don't always pan out.  It's taking a change and at this time his 9 wins is the most by a Royal as he finished the year 9-6 with a 3.08 ERA.
