Update:  It looks like the Chiefs were able to get their guy afterall:

When it was first reported he was taking a job with the Chiefs it then stalled but looks like it's back on again:

The Kansas City Chiefs are going to hire Kentucky defensive coordinator Matt House as linebackers coach per reports:

House kept Missouri to zero first downs in the 2nd half this year when they played them.  This year -Kentucky 6th in the nation in scoring defense-23rd in total defense.  In the SEC #2 in scoring defense and the #4 in total defense.

From his bio at Kentucky athletics:

House spent three years at Pitt before heading to FIU, coaching the secondary his first season in 2012 before being promoted to defensive coordinator/linebackers coach for two seasons. During those two years, House helped guide the Panthers to the 2013 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl and the 2015 Armed Forces Bowl. Under House, Pittsburgh defensive tackle Aaron Donald was drafted 13th overall by the Rams in the 2014 NFL Draft and eventually was selected for the Pro Bowl.

Craig Stout from Arrowhead Pride had wanted the Chiefs to consider him for DC:
