Danny Duffy could be a big topic at the trade deadline

Nick Cafardo in his Sunday Baseball Notes column in the Boston Globe had this to say about Danny Duffy:

"Danny Duffy, LHP, Royals — Despite a poor first start, Duffy remains on the radar of scouts eyeing a starting pitcher to add at the trade deadline. Yes, that informational process has already begun. Duffy is said to be available for the right package of prospects. With a small pool of top starters available at the deadline, the competition for his services could yield a good haul for the rebuilding Royals".-Nic Cafardo

-While this would be a fairly obvious piece to be calling about because Danny has a great contract and the fact that he is signed through 2021.  The Royals could essentially possibly get some good pieces for the farm system to build it back up.  But Duffy remains huge to this rotation and he doesn't seem to mind the rebuild and he really likes playing in this town.  This will be something to watch.
