Here is a look at some of the corners coming out in the NFL draft.  The Chiefs should have a chance at several.  But are the corners in this draft as good as past years?  My mocks to come out after combine.

This is what Matt Miller had to say about the corners:

The first cornerback comes off the board at No. 20 overall, which might seem impossible, but the group of corners in this year's class is not particularly strong at the top. Each of the cornerbacks being considered in Round 1 comes with concerns, which is why Greedy Williams is available here.

A 6'3" cover man with excellent length, Williams has to prove at the NFL Scouting Combine that he can run with pro receivers. If he can do that, he'll be off the board way earlier than this.

The first round might see 3 corners taken-let's look at them first:

1. Greedy Williamas LSU-I do not feel the Chiefs would have a chance at him unless they traded up but probably but could get good value with Murphy or Baker.

2.  Byron Murphy Washington-Chiefs could have a chance at this at 29-my 2nd favorite corner.  58 tackles and 4 tackles for losses.  4th on team in tackles.

3. Deandre Baker Georgia-Chiefs might have a chance at 29 with Baker as well--My favorite for the Chiefs-physical and can play either side of the field

4. Trayvon Mullen Clemson-could be first rounder but no lower than 2

5. Julian Love Notre Dame-2nd or 3rd rounder but remember the Chiefs have 2 picks in the 2nd round

6. Rock Ya-Sin-Temple-6'1" corner probably available in the 2nd.  Exceptional energy.  66 tackles and 2 picks.
