Chiefs move on from Revis

The Kansas City Chiefs cut corner Darrelle Revis today which was to be expected.  Back in November the Chiefs signed Revis to help out a secondary that was in need of help. They brought him in to help out Steve Nelson, Terrance Mitchell, Phillip Gaines and Kenneth Acker.  With the recent trade of Alex Smith to the Redskins and getting a 3rd round pick and corner Kendall Fuller in return they appear set at corner plus they get help in a big way with the return of Eric Berry at safety next year.  Revis would have carried a cap hit of 4.5 million this year according to Spotrac.

Time to see some Kendall Fuller next year with the Chiefs:
