Chiefs add QB and WR depth

The Chiefs signed some depth for off season and training camp with QB Matt McGloin and receiver Nelson Spruce.  McGloin has mostly played with the Raiders making 7 career starts in 4 years with 6 of them coming in 2013.  Last year McGloin was with the Eagles in pre-season and the Texans for a short stint.  He was undrafted in 2013 out of Penn State.  This now gives the Chiefs 3 quarterbacks with Mahomes, Henne which was signed to be the #2 and now McGloin who will start off as the third QB.  However it doesn't mean the Chiefs will still be in the market for a #3 QB or address that need late in the draft.

Here are my latest mock drafts:

Chiefs mock 1.0:

Chiefs mock 2.0:

Chiefs mock 3.0:

Nelson Spruce went undrafted out of Colorado in 2016 and has spent time with the Rams on injured reserve and the Bears practice squad.  Nelson set 41 Colorado records when he was there including all time leading pass catcher for the Buffs in catches and receiving yards.
