With Kansas State pulling off the upset in Stillwater against Oklahoma State and Missouri beating Vanderbilt on Saturday both teams are now bowl eligible.  Kansas State won 45-40 in a wild game. Missouri on the other hand has how won 5 straight after starting the season 1-5 after beating Vanderbilt 45-17 Saturday night.

-For the Wildcats redshirt freshman QB Skylar Thompson threw for 204 yards and 3 touchdowns.  He also ran 17 times for 93 yards and a touchdown.

The star of the show was wide receiver Byron Pringle who had 3 touchdowns receiving and an 89 yard kick return for a touchdown. That stat line has never been done before in the Big 12.

Pringle highlights:

Kansas State had built a lead of 42-13 but had to hang on for the 45-40 win.  They face Iowa State next week in Manhattan.

The thing to watch is the Texas Bowl and the Liberty bowl because these game are a Big 12 and SEC matchup.  Wouldn't it be something if Mizzou and Kansas State played in a bowl game?  These 2 teams have agree to play each other in a home and home in 2022/2023.

-Missouri on the other hand took care of business on the road in Nashville.  They defeat the Commodores 45-17.  Drew Lock added 3 touchdown passes raising his passing TD total to 38 touchdowns which leads the nation.

However the story of the night was Albert Okwuegbunam the redshirt freshman tight end who finished with 5 catches, 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. He now has 8 touchdowns in the last 6 games and 9 for the season.

Next week Mizzou will be on the road against Arkansas.
