Chiefs Omit Peters From Pro Bowl Vote

One day after his suspension

December 07, 2017 - 10:17 am

The Chiefs put out a pair of tweets asking fans to retweet for Pro Bowl votes for Chiefs players.  But there was one notable omission from the defensive players.

So Marcus Peters (or @marcuspeters on twitter if you'd like to vote) was left off just one day after the Chiefs suspended him for one game for actions in Sunday's loss to the Jets.

Meanwhile the offense included 12 players.  (We're pretty sure it's a penalty flag)   And all but Alex Smith have a twitter account -- that's another story for another day.

The Chiefs say it was an oversight and did tweet out Peters' name later, without his twitter handle.
