Ok let's all stop blaming the refs

Hey Chiefs Kingdom…stop blaming the zebras! The Chiefs scored 30-points on the road and lost!  Guess how many times that has happened this year? 8.

That’s it.

If you throw a 30-burger on an NFL team you should WIN. THE. GAME! PERIOD.

The refs are not the reason the Chiefs lost the game.

The Chiefs had the ball with under 5-minutes to go and they couldn’t get a first down.  Alex Smith was sacked on 3rd and 4 with a 3-man rush.  Three raiders vs. five Chiefs lineman.

The secondary got smoked all night by Derek Carr, Amari Cooper and company.  The defense got zero pressure on Carr.  I’m not exaggerating. The Chiefs defense had zero hits on Carr during the game.

If you’re in the “let them play” crowd or the “refs should swallow their whistle late in games” crew.  Stop it.

The refs didn’t call offensive pass interference on Cooper when the Raiders scored their first touchdown.  If you want the refs to let them play and not blow the whistle late in games…the Chiefs still lose.

If the zebra swallowed the whistle when Michael Crabtree pushed off on Marcus Peters, the Chiefs lose.

The bottom line is this. The Chiefs used to be a bend but don’t break defense that is now broken.  That’s the problem, not the officials.
