The Goal Is To Bring A PGA Tour Event To KC

Huge news from The KC Golf Classic, Kansas City's Tour event.  The tournament is moving to Blue Hills Country Club in 2019.  The tournament will be played May 6th through 11th instead of in late July and it will be managed by Bruno Event Team.  Bruno Event Team manages multiple PGA Tour events including the BMW Championship.  The KC Golf Classic has a 5-year agreement with Bruno Event Team to manage the tournament.  When I spoke with KC Golf Classic Executive Director Drew Van Meeteren, he told me these changes get Kansas City closer to hosting a PGA Tour Event.  The entire interview can be heard below.
