2 games into the season and our town's team looks awfully impressive.  So impressive in fact that it has many around the football world saying the Chiefs are now the favorite to win the Super Bowl.  Before we make our plans for Minnesota in February, here are 5 quick takeaways from Sunday's 27-20 win over the Eagles.

1.  Alex Smith balled out.  He was under pressure a lot on Sunday and was able to move around the field, extend plays and extend drives.  Thru 2 games Smith has been as impressive as he's been in his entire career in KC.

This may have been the play of the game!

2.  Chris Jones made a name for himself today.  He had 3 sacks, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles and 1 pass defended.  He was a beast on Sunday and a big reason why Philly looked confused for a lot of the afternoon.

Cat like quickness big fella!

3.  Dan Sorenson was great.  Eric Berry is a tough player to replace but Sorenson looked very athletic and flew around like a maniac today especially while rushing the QB.  It kinda makes what Ryan Lilja said on Friday stand out.

4.  Kareem Hunt is a star.  This guy can score from anywhere on the field.  He finished with over 100 combined yards and 2 touchdowns.  He's a special player and a ton of fun to watch!

5.  The Arrowhead crowd was in mid season form.  The noise was off the charts and I couldn't even hear people sitting next to me it was that loud!  I can't imagine how hard it was for Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense to hear on the field.

It's now on to Los Angeles for the Chiefs and Super Bowl fever is already at an all time high.  This team is special and they have showed it now for 2 weeks.  Keep it rolling boys!!!
