Mitchell Schwartz is one of the best offensive tackles in football.  He's also one of, if not THE, best cook on his team.  He spent time at The Jewish Community Center with Bob Fescoe on Monday night cooking and telling great stories.  Schwartz shared tales of Patrick Mahomes behind the scenes and how he knows its his job to protect the face of Kansas City.  Schwartz and the Chiefs are in the middle of what looks like a special season but he also has time to give back.  Schwartz gave a tour of the J's Food Pantry which helps many needy families in both Johnson and Jackson County.  He also shared the story of how he started playing football.  His mom told him to go out for the team in 9th grade and he would be the quarterback.  He was quickly moved to the offensive line and the rest they say is history.  Schwartz demonstrated cooking the perfect latke tonight!

The perfect latke according to @m_schwartz72 !
