I've never felt so good after a loss.  I know I speak for a lot of Kansas City when I say Sunday's loss felt a lot better than the result.  You never want to lose a game, but the Chiefs showed us a ton of heart, fight and the ability to come back against the best team of this century.  KC put up 40 points, their 2nd highest output of the season, against the best defensive mind of all time.  They scored 31 second half points and Patrick Mahomes was awesome in the final 30 minutes of the game.  Before we turn the page to Cincinnati, lets take a look back at the most important numbers from Sunday's 43-40 shootout with New England.

5- The Chiefs have scored 30 points or more in 5 of their 6 games so far this season.  Last year they managed to break the 30 point mark 5 times.  The 2018 Chiefs have already tied that and we aren't even to Halloween.

352- Patrick Mahomes tossed the ball around for 352 yards on Sunday night.  He has thrown for over 300 yards in 5 straight games.  No Chiefs quarterback has ever done that before.  Trent Green threw for 300 or more in 4 straight games back in 2004, which makes me wonder why that 2004 team wasn't that good.

185- Kareem Hunt had 185 yards from scrimmage, the third most in his career.  It also marks the 5th game of his career with 175 or more yards from scrimmage.  This kid is so impressive and its night and day when he is in the game vs when Spencer Ware is on the field.  Hunt never goes down and a play is NEVER over when he has the ball.

67/75- Mahomes connected with Hunt on a 67 yard touchdown pass in the 3rd quarter which was the longest of Mahomes career until he tossed a 75 yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill with 3:03 left in the game.  Mahomes out here shattering records! Tyreek getting beer poured on him by a classless New England fan.

2-  The Chiefs had 2 100 yard receivers in Sunday's game.  Hill had 142 and Hunt had 105.  It was the 2nd time this season the Chiefs had 2 receivers go over 100 yards in a game, the first coming in Pittsburgh with Travis Kelce and Sammy Watkins breaking the century mark.

Now it is on to Cincinnati.  I wish the Bengals luck as they TRY to come up with a gameplan to stop the Chiefs...good luck guys...you will need it!  Also good luck rolling into Arrowhead on a Sunday night...
