KC Setting Records Each Week

We are Witnessing History

Another Sunday, another impressive record setting win for the Kansas City Chiefs!  As we hit the backside of the 2018 regular season, our hometown football team continues to make everyone just shake their heads in amazement.  This past Sunday it was Kareem Hunt and Patrick Mahomes stealing the show.  In fact, Mahomes continues to put up numbers that make the busts in Canton say, "Welcome to the club, kid" because if he continues at this pace he will walk into the Hall of Fame untouched.  Here's a look back at what happened on Sunday.

1- Patrick Mahomes is the only quarterback to throw for over 3,000 yards in his first 10 NFL games.  For his career, Mahomes has 3,185 yards dating back to Week 17 out in Denver.  Mahomes keeps laughing at all time NFL records and he keeps leading his team to wins.

3- Mahomes has completed over 70% of his passes in 3 straight games.  In fact, the last 3 games are the only games this year that he's thrown better than 64% with the exception of the Steelers game in Week 2 when he was at 82%.  Its fun to see the league MVP getting better as the season goes along.

An impressive game from Mahomes with 375 yards (my prediction was right) and 3 touchdown passes, which is a bit lower then I was guessing. With an impressive 72% pass completion with 3 drops from wide receivers he was on point today. Mahomes moves to 29 passing touchdowns and 31 total touchdowns. Did you guys expect a better or worse game from Mahomes? I feel like he could of had more touchdowns but Andy Reid pulled the plug on it ——————————————— Credit: ——————————————— Tags -- (Ignore) ———————————————- - - #chiefs #chiefskingdom #patrickmahomes #nflmemes #traviskelce #chiefs #chiefsnation #fortnite #fortnitememes #49ers #raiders #steelers #seahawks #nfl #nba #mondaynightfootball #memes #dankmemes #likeforlikes #likeforfollow #like4likes #followforfollowback #follow4followback #patriots #fantasyfootball #sfs #shoutouts #sundaynightfootball #sportsnews #espn

36.3- The Chiefs are averaging 36.3 points per game thru 9 weeks becoming the 4th team since 2001 to average over 35 points per game thru the first 9 weeks of the season.  The other 3 went on to the Super Bowl:  2013 Denver, 2009 Saints and the 2007 Patriots.  The 2009 Saints are the only team to have won the Super Bowl of that group.

29- QB Patrick Mahomes owns 29 touchdown passes in his first 10 career NFL games, more touchdown throws than any QB in NFL history in their first 10 games.

8- With his 3 touchdowns on Sunday, Kareem Hunt has now scored a touchdown in 8 consectuive games.  The only game this year he didn't score was Week 1 in Los Angeles.  Hunt is on pace for 12 rushing and 11 receiving he's on pace for 23 total touchdowns in 2018.  I'll take it!

Next week against Arizona should be even better!  The Chiefs come in at 17.5 point favorites!
