It's back to work for the Chiefs this week who now have a TON to play for on Sunday night against the Seahawks.  After failing to clinch home field advantage with a win over the Chargers, KC needs to win their last two games to ensure they don't slip into Wild Card Weekend.  Being home for the post season is imperative for the Chiefs and they have to right the ship on the west coast. The Chiefs will travel almost 1,500 miles on Saturday to play the Seahawks.  Before we get into a full preview it's time to take a look back on some of the things accomplished against the Chargers.

499- The Chiefs have scored almost 500 points this year.  With two games to go, they have already set the regular season record for most points in a season.  Needless to say, this offense has been amazing to watch in 2018.

6- Patrick Mahomes became just the 6th player in NFL history to throw for 45 or more touchdown passes in one season.  Only FIVE other quarterbacks in the history of the game have accomplished that feat.  He joins Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Dan Marino and Drew Brees on that list.

49- Mahomes needs 49 yards to pass Trent Green for the most yards passing in one season with the Chiefs.  Green had 4,591 yards passing in 2004 when the Chiefs finished 7-9.

11.5- Dee Ford has a career high 11.5 sacks this season.  Not bad for a guy entering a contract year.  He now has 29 sacks for his career.

6- Eric Berry had 6 tackles in his first game action since September 2017 at New England.  He played just the first half.  The Chiefs are going to need a full 60 minutes out of Berry as we get closer to games that truly matter.
