MLB released its 2021 schedule so early in part to help entice season-ticket holders to roll over their money for the next season as the 2020 campaign is set to get started without fans in the stands. If fans are allowed in ballparks in 2020, it will be at a reduced capacity amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Royals and Cardinals will play six times in 2021 -- at Busch Stadium from Aug. 6-8 and then at Kauffman Stadium from Aug. 13-15.
